Belair-Edison Community Association 60th Anniversary and Holiday Pot Luck Celebration
The Citizens Planning Housing Association (CPHA) awarded a grant to the Belair-Edison Community Association (BECA) to celebrate 60 years of being the oldest continuing community association in Baltimore city. The Grant and Fundraising committee wrote the grant and the Events and Planning committee planned to use the funds for two events. The first event, a Family Day Cookout, took place on September 13th at Sinclair Lane Elementary School. The pictures are available on the BECA website, www.mybeca.org. The second event will be the Holiday Pot Luck Celebration. It will take place on December 9th at Catholic High School, 2800 Edison Highway, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. This grant was awarded to communities with graduates of the CPHA Leadership and Community Building Fellowship Program. Belair-Edison has two graduates thanks to Belair-Edison Neighborhoods, Inc. (BENI). Please save the date and join us for this community and holiday celebration. There will be free food, entertainment, children’s games, face painting, a raffle and prize giveaways. Special thanks to CPHA for your awesome support! For more information on CPHA visit www.cphabaltimore.org. |
